| QUEEN'S CAVE AND OKJUCNA - historical and natural beauty of Vis |
|
Enjoy in exploration of rooms and coridors of the Teuta cave, beautiful panoramas of the sea coast, in hikking through autentic Okjucna and in tastes of traditional cuisine and wines. First we will visit the village Okjucna, from which we proceed with the hikking trail to the Queen Teuta cave. This island location is specific because of the remains of the first island settlement, called "Kumpris", and because this part of the island is completely untouched by the touristic industry. With the hikking trail to the Teuta cave we have 45 minutes of walking. Our friendly guide will take care about your security and will explaine to you why this cave is called "Queen's Teuta cave" and what her historical meaning is. In the cave you must listen to the instructions of the guide! On our walk to the cave and back to the village, we will pick up sweet fruits, which we will use later for the preparation of a desert cake. The lunch will be served on a terace of the family house, builded in 1835. Necessary equipment you will get on the begining of the excursion. Bring hikking shoes.
