The focus of the trip are the caracteristic military underground installations of the island of Vis, built during the time of Tito's Yugoslavia. We will visit the island's forbidden areas devided with barbed wire, different tunnels, underground installations and other sites from the comunistic period, when the island of Vis was strictly forbidden for anyone who was not from X-Yugoslavia.

Island Vis has more then 15 military bases and undermines of different lengths and widths of the passages. The exploration of certain installations requires a high level of mental preparedness, equipement and escort of a experienced guide!

These are the most interesting sites of our routes: the famous marin undermine for patrol boats, tunnels of the artillery batterie of the north coast, the base with the main underground fuel tanks, military bases Samogor and Stupišće, underground communication center, a huge tunnel with warehouses for the land-sea missiles, a undermine turned in to a high quality wine cellar, the installation of the underground command center, the radar base on island's top peak Hum, tunnels and wearhouses of sea mines and other locations of "the forbiden island".

Half day excursion:

Will take you to the marin undermine for patrol boats, tunnels of the artillery batterie of the north coast, the military complex Samogor, the main underground fuel base, the wearhouse and tunnels for sea mines and to visit the wine cellar of high quality island's wines (with wine gustation) in the x military undermine.

Whole day excursion:

In addition to the marine undermine site and other sites of the half-day excursion, we will visit an underground communication center, tunnels and wearhouses of the land-sea missiles, the command center, the radar base on Hum, Stupišće complex and other locations.

It's possible to arrange the route and locations of excursion according to your wishes.

On request:

The last point of this trip takes you to a family household, where you'll have a pleasant time hearing stories and anecdotes from the rich military history of the island, folowed by the island gastronomic specialties and authentic wines.

Option to create the trip of your choice: off road vehicle, by bike and on foot.

The price of a half-day tour: 29.00 Euro, or 200.00 Kn;.

The price of a whole day trip: 43.00 Euro, or 300.00 Kn;
